USP It’s not every day you check into a spa with the sound of screaming in the distance.

AMBIENCE Opulent, with a Roman flourish.

EXPERIENCE Very relaxing head-to-toe treatment. Cool hands wiped delightful ointments on my face and my feet were expertly massaged. After the facial I lapped up the silence of the spa and poked my feet into bubbling foot spas in the meditation room.

FOOD Upmarket canteen food.

IN CROWD Mums who need to get away from it all, while kids are entertained by other halves.
