Take a trip to New York and see the city from the air
USP Boutique style spa and health club specialising in
organic holistic therapies. The Jacuzzi — which boasted an infusion of
something described as “Moor mud” — was intriguingly crystal-clear.
AMBIENCE Clean, modern facilities, and I could have spent all
day in the mysteriously dark, lamp-lit slate pool. But the Moroccan hamam
meets 18th-century chateau setting was slightly disorientating; if only the
designer could make up her mind where she prefers spending her holidays.
EXPERIENCE The friendly, discreet therapists in floaty
Eastern garb worked total magic during my “Fairy Godmother” facial, the
spa’s signature treatment, involving a Japanese “finger walking” face
massage technique. Too bad they couldn’t magic away the giggling girls
waiting on the other side of the door.
FOOD Herbal tea on tap, and a big Carluccio’s picnic lunch
box with tomato and mozzarella, cold pasta, and one too many varieties of
bean salad — oh, and a fizzy drink and gooey tart.
IN CROWD City secretaries and middle-class matrons. Saturday
is definitely the day the girls get together for a right Royal Day Spa
gossip. Rare men stick to the spa’s gym.

I arrived at the Spa after an easy train ride from London, Tunbridge Wells station is just down the road from their door which was convenient.
I was treated to the high maintanace package by my daughter and emerged feeling wonderfull! I dont think i have ever been so relaxed! I initially felt a little selfish having all this attention lavished on me but after a few moments i slipped into a heavenly state and felt like a queen.
The lunch was served in a proper picinic basket and was apparently made by a chef from the telly! it certaintly tasted like it!
The whirlpool was great and made my skin feel lovely, as did the saltwater pool, so much nicer than a chlorine one. The steam room was my far the niceist one i have ever been in!
I can't recomend the place enough, roll on next birthday!

An absolute dream!
Fabulous place, I had a couple of excellent treatments and spent a lovely hour in the saltwater pool.
Nice friendly staff too.
Great ambiance with nice period furniture offset with new fittings.
Thoroughly recommended!

my Daughter booked this spa for my birthday and we foud on arrival that the jacuzzi was not working, this was disapointing as my daughter had gone to a lot of trouble to to find the right place, plus the lunch wich was presented in a box was awful a large fatty roll full with cheese, a green bean and olice salad , a sticky fatty tart, and a fizzy drink, not my idea of a healthy meal at all, being a spa i thought thay would have put a lot more thought into where they sent out for the food, we enjoyed the treatments however not a lot to do apart from swim the day we were there.
