| Auchi, 65, a former official in Iraq's oil ministry, whose two brothers are said to have been murdered by agents of Saddam Hussein, is a financier with substantial Middle Eastern hotel, banking, construction and aviation interests. A British citizen, Auchi lives in an exclusive enclave in southwest London. He is unlikely to travel to France soon: the French authorities want to question him over his alleged role in the sale of a Spanish oil refinery. His extradition case comes to court next month. With values in the hotel and other sectors falling, we are slightly more cautious in this year's valuation, despite the £1.3 billion asset figure Auchi has reported for General Mediterranean Holdings, his Luxembourg-based business.
