| An Australian entrepreneur who lives in Britain, Chapman, 55, netted more than £73m in 2000 after selling his stake in Sportsworld Media, the broadcaster based in London, after a successful flotation. He then chaired Crown Sports, another quoted business, with a range of golf and fitness clubs. Last year a boardroom tussle saw him buying Crown's golf operation for £14.5m, then taking over the rest of the business for £20.4m. He has since resigned from the board. Allowing for investments and tax, we reckon he is worth £65m.
