Michael Cornish and family

46= £700m Packaging

Cornish, 50, looked out for his 11,000 employees last year when he sold his father's Lincolnshire packaging firm for £860m. He rejected higher offers to insist they all received share options. The family netted £700m in the deal, reinvesting £120m in the business, which makes fast food containers. We value the family at £700m until we see how the new owners perform.
