Halabi, 51, sets his sights high. He bought the Aviva Tower in the City for £260m and owns the BSI Tower in Chiswick. He is bidding for the former London stock exchange tower and plans to build London Bridge Tower with Irvine Sellar and Sten Mortstedt (both qv). Halabi owns Buckingham Securities, a family property group with a growing portfolio in overseas trusts. He paid £50m for the In and Out Club, a stars' haunt in Piccadilly, in 2000. He has a shopping centre in Slough and one in Stockport, bought last year for £150m.
