Peter Buckley and the Cayzer family

85= £450m Investments

Chairman Buckley, 61, managed to defeat rebel shareholders, led by his cousin, the colourful Sir James Cayzer, who in October demanded the break-up of the family's London company, Caledonia Investments. Now Sir James and others have attacked plans to sell off parts of the company's 16,000-acre Scottish estate. The firm made its fortune in shipping, followed by investment deals in the 1980s. The family stake is worth £380m and we add £70m for property and past dividends.
