| The Kamprad brothers, Mathias, 38, and Jonas, 34, are heirs to Ikea, the Swedish retailing empire founded by their father Ingvar. Forbes magazine puts his fortune at £10 billion. It would be even higher but Ikea is now owned by a Dutch charitable foundation so its assets cannot all be ascribed to Kamprad. Mathias and Jonas, two of his three sons, live in London and owe most of their wealth to their one-third stake in Ikano, a family holding company that owns Habitat. Fortune magazine valued them at £389m last year. We add £5m.
