| Now based in Jersey but originally from Merseyside, Morgan, 51, set up his Redrow construction firm in 1974 with a loan from his father. By the time it was floated 20 years later it had become one of the UK's biggest housebuilders. He has sold shares worth £240m before tax and retains a £46m slice. He also has a £46m stake in the De Vere leisure group and a holding in Liverpool football club.
