| William & Son in Mayfair is where you will find members of the Asprey family today. It specialises in the sale of sporting guns, jewellery, silverware and watches and is not far from the original Asprey jewellery business in New Bond Street that the family sold in 1995 collecting more than £100m for its stake. Asprey, 66, ran that business and still pops in to the new firm, which was set up by by his son William in 1999. The family's other interests, including the fast-growing Gilridge Bloodstock, which breeds racehorses, and JRA Properties, take their fortune to £110m.
