| In June last year Foriel-Destezet, 69, returned to the helm at Adecco, the world's largest employment agency, as co-chairman. The move followed an accounting scandal in the group and his appointment was an attempt to restore confidence. A French entrepreneur from Lyons, Foriel-Destezet now lives in London and hopes to step down as soon as new executives for Adecco can be found. He has a £977m stake in the group and has sold shares worth more than £130m in recent years. He also has a £108m holding in Securitas, the Swedish security giant. A small stake in a Danish cleaning group and his homes in Britain and France easily take him to £1,275m. |
