| Halabis latest venture, the PM Club, is set to provide exclusive playing fields for the worlds rich and famous. The lavish six-star members club will have one foot in the city at the old In and Out Club in Londons Piccadilly and one in the countryside at Mentmore Towers in Buckinghamshire, above, the setting for the latest Batman film. With full fees of £250,000 for 30 years membership, do not expect any old riffraff. Syrian-born Halabi, 47, has settled his dispute with his two partners in the Shard of Glass tower at London Bridge, and is now leading the project. He said of his wealth: Money is generated by making money, and that has really been my great success. He lives in the south of France, but also has homes in Mayfair and Monaco. The tycoon unwinds by playing tennis, going skiing, horse riding and sailing. A revaluation of his property portfolio and his shareholding in the Shard of Glass take Halabi to £2 billion. |
