| Drapers son Green, 70, the Manchester-born tycoon, was one of the largest investors in the consortium that bought the former Savoy hotel group in 2004 for £750m. He has a 20% equity stake in the company that owns Claridges, the Connaught and Berkeley hotels. Green married Mary-Jean Mitchell, daughter of the wealthy businessman Sir Harold Mitchell, and took over the running of her familys international mining business after she died.
