| Generation Investment Management was set up in 2004 by the former US vice-president Al Gore and Blood, 47, to invest in companies that are environmentally sustainable. Blood used to head Goldman Sachs Asset Management and had a £50m stake in its 1999 flotation. The London-based American may have reduced his stake since leaving Goldman in 2003 but with at least £4m of share sales plus bonuses, he should be worth £80m. |
