| Adding to his non-executive directorship of BT, Brendish, 58, became chairman of Anite, a software group, in October. It is a world he knows well. In 1979 he co-founded the Admiral software group in Surrey. In 2000 it was taken over by rival CMG, with Brendishs stake worth £190m. As CMG shares fell sharply in 2001-02, we assume his wealth contracted to £80m. |
