| Ryan, 70, is spending some of the £424m that he and his sons made selling their stakes in Ryanair, which he co-founded in 1985. He and sons Cathal, 46, Declan, 42, and Shane, 34, have about 40% of AeroBus, based in Mexico, which is due to launch in September, and a 16% stake, worth £2m, in low-cost Tiger Airways in east Asia. These and previous deals would easily have seen the Ryanair money appreciate to £525m and their remaining stake is estimated at £350m today.
