Young British tennis star Andy Murray’s £1m deal to promote Highland Spring water will please the al-Tajir family, which owns it. In 2005 the firm made a £3.2m profit on £51.5m sales. Al-Tajir, 75, spends much of his time at his London home or his 18,000-acre Perthshire estate. In 1997 his wealth was put at £2 billion. He has assets from metal trading, oil and gas interests and a huge property portfolio.
