Everton have a new shareholder in Earl, 55, who took a 23% stake in the Premiership club. London-born Earl, who runs the Planet Hollywood restaurant chain, will display some of his £20m movie memorabilia collection at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which is nearing completion in Las Vegas. His stake is worth about £100m and he has other assets.
