This ninth survey of Irish wealth, compiled by Colm Murphy, covers the Republic and Northern Ireland. For the first time, people born in Ireland whose main wealth was created abroad and beyond Britain are included. The combined wealth of Ireland's top 250 is £29.64 billion (€42.34 billion).

Of the 250, 37 are among Britain's richest 1,000. Entries are quoted in sterling, with all euro values calculated at a rate of €1 = 70p.
