Kelvin Bennett, 45, of Birmingham, due to be sentenced on three counts of rape and one of kidnap of a 21-year-old woman in Folkestone in December 2001. It is the first trial involving a Kent Police unit set up to reinvestigate unsolved crimes using forensic science methods.
