Parents against injustice
(PAIN)
"PAIN was set in 1985 to advise and support parents and carers who claim
they have been mistakenly involved in child abuse investigations. At its
peak in 1999 it dealt with over 5,000 calls from falsely accused parents and
carers but in that same year it lost its funding from the Department of
Health. As a consequence much of its operations had to cease in 2000-2001
but the spirit was kept alive by Alison Stevens, a stalwart volunteer since
1986, who carried on dispensing advice and support and with the help of
Chris Smith and Trevor Jones re-established PAIN as an organisation dealing
with several hundred cases of falsely accused parents and carers each year."
Concerned group of Families and
Aggrieved Parents

seeks to open Family Courts to public scruting and has run a survey on
Family Courts for the last 2 years."

their Children."
