Actually, exposing the Koran and therefore the facts about Muhammad, Islam's founder, and the Hadiths detailing his life,deeds and teachings, is exactly what the West should do and the best way to do that is simply state what the Koran says: the call to wage violent war to force Islam on all the world, the verses calling the Crucifixion 'a lie' and the hundreds of verses which are disparaging of Jews, Christians and other religions, the mandate for slavery and how to treat one's slaves, the degradation of women, the very concept of 'god' in Islam and man's position as its 'slave.' We owe to Islam and Moslems only rational discussion, analysis and, if we choose, our criticism and condemnation of it. If you study the Koran and the ahadith and Islam's "theology" you will discover, however, that critique is not permitted and that only 'allah' has free will.

Actually, Batti, you're wrong: the West can win by taking on the Koran: the word 'love' barely appears in it and its god regards man as his slave and only permits itself alone to exercise free will. Jesus Christ taught love, mercy and repentance, he called men 'brothers', not slaves and the Judaeo-Christian tenets of these faiths know that man does have free will and that a loving god hopes we exercise it in the cause of love of our fellow man. Islam is a false belief and cannot stand the light of truth or analysis, debate and criticism. That, and the fact that the life of Muhammad reveals a man who was the very opposite in every respect to Our Lord, is why Moslems are so determined to prevent any discussion in Western media of Islam and Muhammad. This is my reply in responses to the Andy Gill, I have just read the whole speech, where does he state any racial comments towards any Jews? Mr Haq is merely drawing an account of some facts which has taken past in our history. Can a person be called racisit and vicious for that? Clearly vicious is you my friend for coming across very agressive and bad tempered. Aggressive and violent is you sir.

If a Bosnian was to make a comment about a Serb would he be classed as what you describe, or for that matter a Jew's opinion towards a Christian or a Nazi?? Come on my friend dont think and comment with your emotion. Truth hurts, when people are exposed.

Having listened to this tape on my own several years ago, I can state that emphasis on parts of this speech was introduced in the transcript. In the spoken lecture, these parts were not shouted (which is what capital letters usually mean on the Internet) or otherwise emphasised. The emphasis should be removed.

Aspects of Riyad's speech are spot on and are shared by majority of the Muslim masses. western governments need to be more honest about their views about Islam with their own people that they have intellectually failed to halt the spread of Islam... Mr. UL haq is refering to relegious text. It is matter of one's belief. Christian claim they are saved and same applies to Jews and Muslim claim the same. This is nature of each beleif system and claim.
I find it amazing that people can talk of Muslim Fanaticism and yet it can not be said about the other relgious group. Why is it that only is open to scrutiny but not the other? Could it be in the climate of hysteria, when an illegeal war is launched and justified by some medial outlet, the same prinicipal is used to villfy the respected leaders of community.
