A service of thanksgiving for the life of Dr Thomas Cocke was held on Monday, October 6 in St Margaret's Church. Canon Robert Wright, Rector of St Margaret’s, Westminster, officiated. The Very Rev Dr John Hall, Dean of Westminster gave the blessing. The Rev Graeme Napier, Minor Canon and Succentor of Westminster, led the prayers, assisted by the Rev William Horbury and the Rev Tim Hall, who were robed and seated in the Sanctuary. Canon Robert Reiss, Canon Jonathan Goodall, representing the Archbishop of Canterbury, and the Right Rev Graeme Knowles, Dean of St Paul’s, were also robed and seated in the Sanctuary. Ms Jane Kennedy and Mr James Easton read the lessons. Mr Edward Martineau gave a eulogy and Lord Carey of Clifton gave an address.
