As a Canadian, I was going to rant on old Shad there for making ridiculous statements. But his own words paint a picture of him better than I could. I happen to like my Ford Mustang. 9 years old, never any issues, and going strong and smooth. American cars are certainly much better built now than in days past (like the 80s).

Shad, So all American cars are junk? Are you referring to American as the U.S.A? That's what I thought since Canada has "zero" Canadian based automotive manufatures.
American made cars have had their in the past on some of the models sold in the states. Not all have.
I love when Canadians put down the U.S.A. when without us they would have just beer, Hockey and Polaris ATV's.

Ford GT's may be a little cramped. Slightly low off the floor, be American and be owned by Ford but this does not affect my view on it. About the only parts made by American ford on this car is the powerful V8 Supercharged engine, which whilst being the powerplant is not the car. As Jeremy mentioned on this "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly this has the steering rack from an Aston Martin Vanquish, the Wheels are Italian, and obviously the original plans were from the English Ford GT40.
This car is an American Muscle car with modern day equipment and technology which is very clever. This car sounds beautiful, looks amazing, and goes like a rocket... All at the same time. I'm extremely amazed at "Just 29 GTs came to the UK". If I had the cash I'd buy one as soon as physically possible. Straight after I'd compare the Shelby GT500 (with the same engine and similar supercharger).
Fantastic cars... Wierd my two favourite cars are ford, yet I look at ford as making poor cars. Suprising.

Can't agree.
It may be fast.
But its an American car. Worse yet its a Ford. In this part of the world... that means junk.

This is my all-time favourite car. I have always loved the 60's models GT40s, but when the GT was first released, I damn near wet my pants. Had I the means, I would purcahse one in every colour it came in (but the red one would be my favourite ;)
The first time this car was displayed in a car show in Perth, I offered the attendant $500 cash just for the opportunity to SIT in it. He sadly declined.
*sigh*
