4.Individuals have within them a capacity to succumb to challenge or to see that with challenges come possibilities. Successful leaders must see within everything the hope and possibilities that exist.

5. The process of becoming a leader is much like becoming a fully integrated human being. Individuals must know who they are and how they affect others.
