One of the most important events in our working lives is being interviewed for a job. Needless to say, if non-verbal communication makes up 90 per cent of the message it would be useful to have some tips.
The key point about being interviewed is that the interviewee should come across as confident without being arrogant, at ease without being too relaxed, and create some form of rapport with the interviewer.
In today's video we will look at some body language do's and dont's.
Tomorrow, in our final video in the series, we will explore how the "push" or "pull" approach can help when negotiating a pay rise or promotion.

Throwing the document on the floor is better than calmly placing it on the table within reach for oneself? How bizarre.

The utterly absurd behaviour of the first interviewee makes this video laughable. Really, as if you'd storm in, throw paper down and not shake hands. Don't insult our intelligence, please.
Tony, Islington, London,
Here's a tip for the interviewers in that clip: stand up when someone comes in the room and approaches you to shake your hand!
