Calling all office heroes. The search for The Times Crème and Hays Secretarial PA of the Year 2008 has begun and whether your title is secretary, PA, executive assistant or office manager, you are invited to enter this highly regarded competition.

PAs work hard to help the boss to work efficiently and their organisation to run smoothly. With this in mind, judges will be looking for a PA or secretary who is not only efficient and loyal, but who handles the challenges of the modern office with ease and professionalism. Entrants should also demonstrate how much value he or she has brought to the organisation. Previous awards have attracted many who match this criteria, but the winner must have the extra spark that sets them apart.

Some PAs may be too modest to enter the competition themselves, so we welcome nominations from bosses or colleagues who know a PA who fits the bill.
