Star musicians and your favourite Times writers at the Albert Hall
Tell us about examples of poor leadership - either your own or at the hands of others - and you could win a place on Said Business School's inaugural High Performance Leadership Programme.
The programme, which will run on June 23-27 and usually costs £6,000, is designed for emerging leaders. Run by Professor Tim Morris and Dr David Pendleton of the university's Saïd Business School, it explores the definition of leadership, purpose in leadership, entrepreneurship, styles of leadership, inspiration, decision-making and negotiation. It also includes psychometric testing and coaching. Find out more about the course here.
To win a place tell us in fewer than 500 words about an example of bad leadership and how you might have done things differently. You can e-mail your entry as a written document, a video clip or a podcast. The competition closes at midnight on May 29.

Please what is 'ROI Residents" ?
Saad, Abuja, Nigeria
I agree with Mr Kashif. Why is open for UK and ROI residential, only? In the opposite situation could be an important "real battle" with different points of view from all.
I hope (for the next time) that The Oxford University will consider my personal opinion.

It is great. I am from India.I am a business consultant in India and also a professor of law. I would like to be in the game. but the rules seem not to permit. The problems with the world is that there is really nothing called communication skill, at all. If there no problems in world Sirs!
Dr.G Balakrishnan PhD.(Law0(professor emeritus), Bangalore (India), India
Its a pity that the competition is open for only British nationals. Anyone belonging to any other country or having a different nationality but living in UK cant participate. It should be open to each and every one so that more and more ideas can be gathered.
Kashif, Nanterre, France
What a shame you have to have a first degree, when so many leaders of the future, working within industries would absolutely relish the opportunity that this competition brings.
S Pelling, Beckenham, UK
I would love to enter this but the fact that my boss is still my boss and that whatever I send may be published would then compromise me in relation to my current role, so come on chaps how about agreeing to make it anonimous I bet you would get lots morwe responses if you did!
Jacqui, Middlesbrough,
Anyone wishing to learn anything about leadership could do no worse than to study the policies persued by Scotlands Alex Salmond, and those persued by his labour opponents, wendy alexander and gordon (maggie) brown.
The ineptitude of labour V the master class of Salmond and his SNP Government.
