Organisations were asked about their forward-thinking employee initiatives and
to demonstrate that they are a progressive employer with an innovative
approach to recruitment, flexible working, training and development, pay
reviews, networking and childcare.

RESPONSIBILITY
Organsations were asked about their social and environmental commitment. This
included details of how they demonstrate corporate, social and environmental
responsibility. They were also asked for details of their successful impact
on and contribution to the world.
Winner: McDonald’s “From nutrition to safety and football to
world farming, McDonald’s is committed to saving the world.”
OPPORTUNITY
Organisations were asked to describe their unique selling point to potential
employees; what they do that presents an exciting and challenging
opportunity for employees; how they market this; and how their corporate
values drive this.
Winner: Cisco “Cisco transforms how people connect, communicate and
collaborate [and is]... influencing the way the world develops.”
CONNECTIVITY
Organisations were asked to discuss how they ensure employees have a
transparent and flexible work experience; which technology and processes
give employees work flexibility and access to information; and how linked up
they are as organisations.
Winner: Deloitte “Half [of] Deloitte’s employees use Facebook in
innovative ways to connect with each other.”
