The Queen, with The Duke of Edinburgh, and accompanied by The President of the Republic of Uganda and His Excellency the Rt Hon Donald McKinnon (Commonwealth Secretary-General), this morning walked to the Conference Centre, Kampala, and opened the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Her Majesty afterwards received the Prime Minister of New Zealand.
The Queen this afternoon gave a Luncheon at the Serena Hotel for new Commonwealth Heads of Government.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening gave a Dinner at the Serena Hotel for Commonwealth Heads of Government.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were present.
The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon visited Kasese, was received by Mrs François Gordon (wife of the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Uganda) and received a short presentation on the work of the Ugandan Wildlife Authority.
His Royal Highness later attended a Reception for conservation and wildlife groups at Mweya Lodge, Queen Elizabeth National Park.

By command of The Queen, Sir Anthony Figgis (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency General Mamadou Niang at 39 Marloes Road, London W8, today in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Senegal to the Court of St James's.

The Prince of Wales, President of WaterAid, Patron of ActionAid and Patron of the African Medical and Research Foundation, this morning visited Non-Government Organisation projects in Kawempe, Uganda.
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Kampala Kids League.
The Prince of Wales later attended a Reception given by His Excellency the Rt Hon Donald McKinnon (Commonwealth Secretary-General) at Serena International Conference Centre, Kampala.
His Royal Highness subsequently received The President of the Republic of Uganda and The President of the Republic of Ghana at Serena International Conference Centre.
The Prince of Wales later visited the Commonwealth Foundation's People's Space and, as President of The Prince's Trust The Prince's Youth Business Trust, launched a new International Programme for Uganda at the Africana Hotel, Kampala.
The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the British High Commission in Kampala.
Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Luncheon given by Mrs Museveni (wife of The President of the Republic of Uganda) at the Golf Course Hotel, Kampala.
