The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon attended a Service of Thanksgiving in St Bride's Church, Fleet Street, London EC4, to commemorate the Fiftieth Anniversary of its rededication and were received by the Rector (Canon David Meara), the Master of the Guild of St Bride (Mr Vyvyan Harmsworth) and the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor (Alderman David Lewis).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness afterwards visited St Bride Foundation, Bride Lane, Fleet Street, London EC4, and having been received by Mr Peter Longland (Chairman, Board of Governors), Mr Peter Cooper (Governor) and Mr M Jenkins (Director), met members of the London Press Club and viewed an exhibition of Sixty Years of British newspaper front pages to commemorate their Diamond Wedding Anniversary.
The Rt Hon Gordon Brown MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Air League, this morning received Mr Michael Marshall (President) and Mr Christopher Foyle (Chairman).
His Royal Highness, Chief Patron, Surf Life Saving Great Britain, this evening held a Reception at St James's Palace.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today visited Istanbul, Turkey, and were received by Her Majesty's Consul-General for Istanbul (Miss Barbara Hay).
His Royal Highness, President, Business in the Community, and Her Royal Highness this morning visited the Koç Museum.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Eyüp Shrine and Mosque.
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Kariye Museum.
The Prince of Wales later visited the Atatürk Wargaming Simulation Centre.
The Duchess of Cornwall visited the British Consulate-General at Pera House.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Opportunity International United Kingdom, this evening held a Dinner at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Air Marshal, this morning visited the Military Air Transport Wing of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force, Jackson's International Airport, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
His Royal Highness later called upon the Prime Minister of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea (the Rt Hon Sir Michael Somare) at the Wewak Administration Buildings, Wewak, East Sepik Province.
The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Army Medical Corps, this afternoon attended a Service of Remembrance at Cape Wom War Memorial in Wewak.
His Royal Highness, Grand Prior, afterwards visited the St John Blood Service at Wewak General Hospital, Boram.
The Duke of Gloucester this evening attended a Dinner given by the Prime Minister at Moem Barracks, Wewak.
The Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended the Musicians Benevolent Fund Royal Concert at the Royal Festival Hall, London SE1.
