The Duke of York this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Canada.
Captain James Todd RM was in attendance.
His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, today carried out the following engagements in Oxford and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mr. Hugo Brunner).
The Duke of York this afternoon visited the Said Business School, Park End Street.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, Marston Road.
The Duke of York later visited the James Martin Twenty First Century School, University of Oxford, Old Indian Institute, 34 Broad Street.
His Royal Highness subsequently attended the Lecture: “What is Science For?” at the Sheldonian Theatre, Broad Street.
The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, the Outward Bound Trust, this evening held the Charity Challenge Reception at St. James’s Palace.

The Princess Royal, Patron, College of Occupational Therapists, this morning launched the Strategic Plan at Town Hall, Albert Square, Manchester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr. Warren Smith).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened University Hospital of South Manchester National Health Service Foundation Trust’s Nightingale Centre, Genesis Prevention Centre and North West Heart Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital, Southmoor Road, Wythenshaw, Greater Manchester.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, this evening attended a Lecture to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Victorian Society at the Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London W1, and was received by Mr. Peter Barton (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
The Duchess of Gloucester this morning officially opened Gateway School, Tiffield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire (the Lady Juliet Townsend).
Her Royal Highness afterwards officially opened Kingsthorpe College, Boughton Green Road, Northampton.
The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited Northampton Hope Centre, Ash Street, Northampton.
