The film actor Pierce Brosnan has not enjoyed much box office success since his four James Bond films ended, though he was credited with reviving the franchise. His last Bond was Die Another Day in 2002. This summer he sings and stars with Meryl Streep in the glossy film version of Mamma Mia, which has its royal premiere in London in July. While his film career may have been on hold he has been turning his energy to being an environmental activist with his second wife Keely Shaye Smith, with whom he has two children. They commute between their two homes in Hollywood and Hawaii. His website is full of advice on how to go green, including ten tips to save the planet. Pierce Brosnan is 55 today. RGT
