His Excellency Dr. Dalhatu Tafida was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Federal Republic of Nigeria in London.

Mrs. Tafida was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Eduardo Cabezas was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Ecuador to the Court of St. James's.

Mrs. Cabezas was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Peter Ricketts (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

His Excellency Professor Sir Kenneth Hall (Governor-General of Jamaica) was received in audience by The Queen when Her Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George.

Lady Hall was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen, Patron, and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening gave a Reception at Windsor Castle for the British Olympic Association, to mark the Centenary of the 1908 London Olympics, at which The Princess Royal, President of the Association, was present.

The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon visited Food Centre Wales, Horeb Business Park, Horeb, Llandysul, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (the Hon. Robin Lewis).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited ParcAberporth, West Wales Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Centre in Ceredigion.
