The Queen, Patron, this evening attended a Reception at St. James’s Palace to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary of Leonard Cheshire Disability and was received by the Chairman (Sir Nigel Broomfield).

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Outward Bound Trust, this afternoon held a Luncheon at Frogmore House, Windsor Castle.

His Royal Highness this evening presented the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House Prize to His Excellency John Kufuor (President of the Republic of Ghana) at Drapers’ Hall, Throgmorton Avenue, London EC2.

By command of The Queen, Mr. Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Mrs. Mary Kanya at 20 Buckingham Gate, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for the Kingdom of Swaziland in London.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening arrived at Haneda Airport, Tokyo, and were received by The Crown Prince of Japan and Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Japan (His Excellency Mr. David Warren).

Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, WellChild, this afternoon attended a Reception and Awards Presentation at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London NW8, and was received by Sir Michael Craig-Cooper (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).
