The Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire was present at a memorial service for the 8th Earl of Radnor, held on Thursday November 13 in Salisbury Cathedral.
The Very Rev June Osborne, Dean, officiated, assisted by Canon Jeremy Davies, precentor, who led the prayers of intercession.

The Hon Peter Pleydell-Bouverie, son, read an extract from Fish, Fishing and Fishermen by William Caine; Mr Timothy Pleydell-Bouverie, grandson, read from In Memoriam by Alfred, Lord Tennyson and Lady Hope Pleydell-Bouverie, granddaughter, read Not, how did he die, but how did he live?

During the service Salisbury Cathedral Choir, directed by Mr Peter Halls, sang, accompanied by Mr Daniel Cook, organ.
