A service of thanksgiving to celebrate the life and work of Reginald George Gutteridge was held on Wednesday, May 13, at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street.
Canon David Meara, rector, officiated, said the bidding prayer and pronounced the blessing.
Mr Jacques Seneschall, grandson, read the lesson. Alexander Antonioni and Matthew and Robert Seneschall, grandsons, read poems for their grandfather. Sir Michael Grade, Mr Jim Watt and Mrs John Seneschall, daughter, gave addresses. During the service the choir performed works from Mozart and Verdi and Mr Fergal O’Mahony played the piano.
Among others present were: Mrs Gutteridge (widow), Mr John Seneschall, Mr Antony Antonioni (sons-in-law) with other members of the family.
