A memorial service for Jack Douglas was held on Friday, June 5, at St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden, The Rev Simon Grigg officiated, Mr Rick Wakeman read the lesson and Mrs Vivien Howell read a poem, Jack, by Sue Benwell. Mr Robert Ross, Miss Anita Harris and Mrs Deborah Cartwright, daughter, read eulogies. During the service Harvey Cartwright, grandson, and Andrew Murphy, guitar, performed a jazz medley.
