His Royal Highness afterwards attended the Annual General Meeting of the Central Council of Physical Recreation followed by Lunch at St. James’s Palace.

The Princess Royal this morning re-opened Morpeth Chantry, Bridge Street, Morpeth, following the Morpeth Flood Disaster on 6th September, 2008, and was received by Captain Iain Moffat (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland).

Her Royal Highness later toured Carlisle Park, Castle Square, Morpeth, to commemorate its Eightieth Anniversary.

The Princess Royal this afternoon opened the historic Dilston Chapel and Castle, Dilston, Corbridge, Northumberland.
