FANTASTIC! My first car, bought 2nd hand in 1968, was my pride and joy. It finally gave up the ghost after flogging over the Snake Pass in the Penines, with all my worldly goods in a trunk on the fold-down back seat, when the floor collapsed!

In 1975-85 I used to have -63 Fiat 500 Nuova and it gives me great joy to se some of the same sympahtetic in the new desing.
Compared to Fiat 600 the "Topolino" Fiat 500 seemed MUCH nicer. It had something good that the 600 did not have.
This new Fiat 500 has good cahnces to succeed as it has some of the same attraction that the Fiat 500 NUova used to have.

Bring it to the USA!
Small cars are back again even in the USA as gas prices rise - I was around for the 1950s
bubble car imports (VW was not the only one to export to the USA)
and I was also driving a Honda Civic in the 1970s gas crunch - now I own a
1959 BMW 600 that gets great milage! My next door neighbor owns a 1959 Fiat 500.
(I am 6'5" tall, so that new Fiat better have at least a bit of headroom!)
