1.The competition is open to UK and ROI residents aged between 19 - 25 on August 1, 2007.

2. Each entry must consist of three images, one from each category:

a)Food and Entertainment

b)Action

c)Portraiture

All entries must be the original work of the entrant and not previously published. Entrants must obtain the consent of the subjects of the photo. Obscene or defamatory photos, or photos which invade the privacy of an individual, will not be accepted.

Prints should be no larger than 7"x5" and must be accompanied by an entry form downloadable from 'Tabasco@thetimes.co.uk'

Images may also be sent via e-mail to 'tabasco@thetimes.co.uk' and must be accompanied by an entry form sent as a word document attachment. Image file size must be no greater than 300kb with captions attached.

4. The new closing date is midnight Monday April 30th, 2007.

5. A shortlist of six finalists will be invited to take part in a final round of judging followed by an interview at the Times offices in London. The finalists must be available between May 14 and May 18, 2007. TNL will pay reasonable travel expenses to London.

6.The winner will be announced by no later than May 31 2007.

7.The winner will be the entrant whose photographs, in the opinion of the judges, demonstrated the greatest flair, technique and originality.

8.TNL reserves the right to publish entries other than the winning entries, and publication does not necessarily mean that the entrant has won a prize. Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries, however by entering, all entrants licence TNL a worldwide royalty free perpetual licence to publish and use each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes.

9. Entries cannot be returned.

10. Times Newspapers Limited ("TNL") cannot be held responsible for entries lost, mislaid or damaged in transit. Failure of an entry to be delivered by the closing date or in the manner specified will make the entry invalid.

11. By entering the competition entrants agree to be bound by these rules. The judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

12.Only one entry per person may be submitted.

13.First prize consists of a six-month fulltime contract with TNL running from August 1, 2007. The winner must agree to TNL's terms of contract.
