The University of Ulster has earmarked £250m to develop its Belfast and Jordanstown campuses. A landmark facilities building will be constructed next to the Belfast site, and Jordanstown’s sports facilities, already a training site for the 2012 Olympics, will be turned into Ireland's leading sports campus. There will also be changes to the two campuses outside Greater Belfast at Coleraine and Magee, in Londonderry. It represents the biggest investment in the university’s history.

Bursaries start at £320 a year for students from households with an income of £21,526 to £40,238, rising to £1,070 when income is below £18,820.
