50. DELFINA STUDIO CAFE (020-7357 0244) - Do your bit for modern art by dining out here. Profits from the "global eclectic" menu go to fund the artists in residence next door at Delfina.

72. SE1 HAIR AND BEAUTY (020-7378 9422) - Hair salon that appears unassuming until you read the sign: "John from Channel 4's The Salon now resident at SE1". We presume he didn't bring the hidden cameras with him.

83. FASHION AND TEXTILE MUSEUM (020-7403 0222) - Zandra Rhodes's celebration of all things fashion hosts exhibitions, events and provides an education programme. Current exhibits include Permanently in Fashion: French Design from the '50s to the '80s, and My Favourite Dress, a collection of pieces from top designers.

96. COCKFIGHTER OF BERMONDSEY (020-7357 6482) - Men and women's edgy fashion boutique. Monday and Tuesday are by appointment only so choose your day to visit carefully.

99-101. THE GARRISON (020-7089 9355) - Formerly The Honest Cabbage, this is a lively gastropub with a renowned brunch menu and a cinema in the basement.

169. PURE AND APPLIED (020-7234 0123) - Specialist in antique prints dating back to the 16th century and conservation framing. Pure And Applied includes among its clients leading London antique and Old Master dealers, as well as museums and galleries.

194. BERMONDSEY KITCHEN (020-7407 5719) - A modern restaurant serving excellent British fare. The owner Dela Foster sources rare-breed meats, traditionally reared on Yorkshire and Welsh farms, and fish from UK shores.

214. BERMONDSEY ANTIQUE MARKET (020-7969 1500) - Open every Friday morning, this is a real magnet for the serious collector. Get there early for bargains -and we mean early. The market opens at 5am.
