Don’t let the credit crunch bite; sink your teeth into our spring gastro pub offer and buy two main courses for the price of one at more than 250 fantastic pubs. You can also buy two glasses of Rioja — Spain’s most famous wine — for the price of one.

All participating pubs will offer a minimum of four main course options, including at least one vegetarian dish, and two or more delicious Rioja wines. Some pubs are also extending the 2 for 1 offer to starters and desserts. The offer is valid until June 30, 2009 and you and your friends can take part as many times as you like, as long as you collect four tokens each time.

Here’s how to take part:
1) Collect four tokens and a voucher. You’ll find two tokens in The Sunday Times and one in The Times every day until May 1. You can print a voucher here
2) Phone your chosen pub to book a table, mentioning The Times Gastro Pub offer, then bring your tokens and a completed voucher with you.
3) Four tokens and a voucher are enough for up to four people to dine out together.

The meal offered will include side orders, eg vegetables, rice or bread and butter. Additional courses can be ordered but will be charged at the pub¹s standard menu prices, unless otherwise stated (ie the pub is offering 2 for 1 on starters and/or desserts). 13.The meal includes Vat and cover charge, but does not include additional drinks, coffee or service. Some pubs may add an additional service charge to the final bill. This should not be more than 12.5%. 14. The promoters reserve the right to vary or amend this promotion and the reader agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof. 15. The Promoter is responsible for the first part of the promotion ­ that is, provision of tokens and vouchers. All other facilities connected with this promotion are contributed by, and are the responsibility of, the individual pubs. 16.
