SERVES 4

Get two of your five-a-day at the start of the day, or as a refreshing way to end a meal.

1 canteloupe melon

1 honeydew melon

300g mixed berries, such as blueberries, blackberries and raspberries

1 lime

1 orange

1-2 tsp runny honey, to drizzle handful of mint, shredded

1 Halve the melons, remove and discard the seeds, then use a melon baller to carve out the flesh in balls (or simply cut it into small chunks if you prefer).

2 Divide the melon balls and mixed berries between individual serving bowls (or toss them together in a large salad bowl).

3 Finely grate the zest from the lime and orange over the fruit salad. Cut the lime and orange in half and squeeze a little juice over each serving. Drizzle with a little honey, then scatter over the shredded mint. Best served slightly chilled.
