Cool in Your Code is the web TV show which brings you London from the inside out. We've peeked into the world's most expensive homes in Chelsea; pounded the streets of Hoxton for the coolest bars; and chatted to Zandra Rhodes in her Borough boudoir. Simply read about the areas below, and click on the links to watch the videos.
Chelsea is home to the yummiest mummies and the highest-ranking A-list celebrities in London: Mick Jagger, David Bowie and the Geldofs all call this area home. With property prices averaging a cool £1 million, this is Britains richest borough. But what will that sort of money buy you? We look at the pads they want to buy and walk the streets where the actors, artists and socialites like to shop in Chelsea. Night time is the right time for Jazz bars and cocktails in Chelsea: we obligingly investigate the cultural offerings available to the discerning Sloane Ranger .

Herne Hill:
Herne Hill is a pearl nestled between Brixton and Dulwich. It doesn't have the Tube, but you know what? We don't care. Lying only 10 minutes from Victoria by train and with all the community charm of a country village, Herne Hill has more to offer than meets the eye. With writers like Shelley Silas and Stella Duffy as your neighbours, Herne Hill is a fairytale for first-time buyers. We snooped around Herne Hill and found a selection of one and two bedroom homes with price tags from £215,000 to £325,000. Parks and libraries are not the only amenities that Herne Hill has to offer; get that body beautiful by working out at the boxing club or velodrome. Check out for yourself how the locals stay fit in body and mind . Finally, a little tired, we sip lattes with up and coming literary genius.

Gilbert & George, Mobile Clubbing, curry houses and the infamous market; we take a walk around Spitalfields. An area whose food, architecture and culture have been influenced by the eclectic mix of migrants who have arrived from all over the world. We take a look inside restored Georgian properties, modern loft apartments with wallet-purging price tags and grab a bite to eat at the curry houses and international food stores that cater to this thriving community. A non-stop party zone , Spitalfields has plenty to offer whether it’s mobile clubbing or live Jazz that you are looking for.

Crouch end, with its village feel and abundance of open spaces is notorious as the homeplace of many musicians, actors and writers. Recently, it has become a playground to another set of residents too as many young couples see it as the place to start a family. We look at family homes with price tags ranging from £250,000 to £2.5 million. With housing covered, we take a look inside whole food store Haelan, the Pilates Place and local boutique, Scarecrow, in search of the secret to looking and living well in Crouch End. Of course, we couldn't talk about Cultural-laiden Crouch End without stepping foot inside writers’ haunt Banner’s bar, strumming a guitar inside Rock Around the Clock or sipping a pint at famous King’s Head pub on Crouch Hill.

It all comes down to market values in SE1, and I’m not just talking about the famous Borough Market, we take a look into a property market that hosts 17th century converted warehouses alongside 21st century apartments. Price tags range from £300,000 to £1 million for two bedroom properties ; a drop in the ocean for the many city workers who choose to base themselves in this area. We wet our lips at the market and look at the businesses, restaurants and shops that grown around the area’s growing prosperity. From floatation tanks to chocolate factories turned community theatre not to mention Zandra Rhodes fashion academy, Borough has it all so take a peek with us.

Though more trendy than tradesman, Hoxton manages to walk the fine line between contemporary and traditional. We tread the exposed oak floor boards of Hoxton’s slickest properties where a studio apartments can rarely be found for less than £200,000. Its proximity to the City and great assortment of bars and restaurants is drawing many young bankers eager to set foot on the property ladder; we ask is Hoxton more Banker than Banksy? At night, in addition to the slick lounge bars and live music venues, we took a peek into the kitchen of the Hoxton Apprentice a restaurant that is sure to tug at both taste buds and heartstrings. For up-and-coming artists, actors and directors, Hoxton has a Youth arts centre where young people can explore their talents.

The words Meat and Market were never so well suited to each other as in Smithfield, home to 8 year old club Fabric and of course the 800 year old Smithfield market; there’s plenty of flesh to get your teeth into. We checked out the Smithfield property scene and found a number of pads with price tags starting at £220,000 for a studio apartment; expect to pay anything from £500,000 to £900,000 for a two-bedroom property. We played culture vulture for the day with our friends in the Barbican and found learned how they connect with kids through poetry. Hungry for more, we whet our appetites at Vic Naylor, a restaurant bar popular with Jude Law and essentially anyone who enjoys a late night beer.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie call it home but could you? We look behind the closed doors of the hottest property that Marlebone has to offer; bring your wallet for this edition of Property Code - one-bedroom properties cost from £400,000. Life in W1 is not just about where your house is it is about how your home is furnished, we got tied up in ribbon shop VV Routeaux and learnt how to start a toy soldier collection in Under the Flags. Vegetarian food in Marlebone is far from bland or dull, we take a seat at Eat and Two Veg and find out that you don’t have to be a meat eater to enjoy a sausages and mash.
