The furniture factories and shoemakers’ workshops that previously defined Hoxton have been now converted into loft apartments and creative spaces to house the bankers, artists and media types who have now made Hoxton their home. Damian Barr looks at the property on offer and reveals why real estate and creative space are such serious business here. Plus we visit the Geffrye Museum – a treasure trove of functional objects that informs the interior-design direction of Hoxton’s cognoscenti in a place where the traditional and the contemporary sit comfortably together in harmonious style.

I can't choose which video to view in firefox, all I can see is the video intro clip and above and blow the video pane it says "null" (only seems to work properly in IE). also the streaming is very jerky, can there be an option to select a lower quality stream for those of us on slightly lower speed connections? thanks.
susie, London,
This is cool and a welcome distraction at work! I look forward to them covering other areas in London as am hoping to buy a flat this year and want to make sure I get the location right!
Susannah Heath, London,
I recently had the dubious pleasure of spending four nights at a best-not-named 'no-frills' hotel in Hoxton. My congratulations to the Urban (Urbane, surely) Guerrilla, Mr Barr, for correcting my subsequently lacklustre opinion of this (I now realise) grand locale.
James, Eastbourne, UK
Nice and quick overview with lovely angles, didn't know Hoxton had many nice places. And the tall blond guy isn't too annoying - well done!
Erm to Bob Mills, what is there in Bognor Regis by the way??
San, Brighton,
Very impressive. Good to see a webTV that is just that - a TV quality broadcast, but served via the web.
Can we expect more postcodes outside London to get a look-in? Come on Times Online, there's lots to do in Bognor Regis.
Well done all!
Bob Mills, Bognor Regis, UK
