"Binkie is very discerning when it comes to art – three years spent in an art gallery have honed her appreciation of good art and she barks her approval when she sees something she likes!

Her most adorable feature is how she walks as if she's wearing high heels, Jimmy Choos of course. When we arrive at the gallery, each morning Binkie makes it a priority to totter over to everyone to say good morning and sit in their laps – she's incredibly sociable and loves nothing better than a good party with a bit of dancing.

On quiet evenings, she likes to watch other dogs on TV, Crufts being her absolute favourite. She's taken quite a shine to Ben Fogles' dog Inca. Black Labradors are her favourite.

From the word go Binkie was a true star; she was the only puppy in the litter to have an all-white body and an all-brown face. Her beautiful, distinctive markings made her stand out from her brothers and sisters, who were all a lot patchier.

All this attention has resulted in some diva behaviour, she has her own seatbelt and sits on the front seat of my car but she does prefer sitting on someone's lap so that she can see out of the window.

Honestly, from the way she behaves you would think she was driving around in a chauffeur-driven limo. Life without Binkie would be unbearable. Although I wouldn't miss my clothes being covered in dog hair."
