Wi-fi will be free at all of British Airways’ 25 lounges from 1 April, after the airline signed a three-year deal with wireless internet provider BT Openzone.
The deal will cover BA’s lounges at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Jersey and will include the new Galleries lounge complex at Heathrow’s terminal 5, which opens tomorrow.
Emily Clark, British Airways’ lounges development manager, said: “An integral part of the travel experience for our premium customers is the lounges and their ability to work or relax as they choose there. For business customers, free wireless will enable them to be connected to the office, right up until they fly.”
