Asked when he first met Mr Deripaska, Lord Mandelson said that they met on a few social occasions in 2006 and 2007. The Times has established that they have actually known each other for much longer. Sources have revealed they had dinner in Moscow in late January 2005. Can Lord Mandelson clarify when he first meet Mr Deripaska and why his first statement appears inaccurate?

When Lord Mandelson was asked whether he had stayed on board Mr Deripaska's superyacht, the Queen K, in Corfu this summer, he said he'd had drinks on the boat. Can Lord Mandelson clarify how long he stayed onboard the Queen K this summer? Has he stayed on it before?
